The successful candidate will be working in general outpatient and/or other appropriate clinical venues.

Duties will extend across a range of plastic surgery specialties and the postholder will be expected to have proficiencies across a broad area to include Dermatological Minor surgical operations above the Clavicle and below the clavicle.

This maybe excisions of BCC’s and may involve doing Grafts and Flaps in a Community Minor Surgery room.

All procedures to be done under Local Anaesthetic.

The post holder will also be required to take skin biopsies. 

Working hours may vary – a usual session consists of 4 hours with several booked procedures.

The surgery will be conducted in a community setting, within a GP surgery in the Kent area.  

Qualified and trained HCA’s will be available in a supporting role. This role is available on a Self-Employed basis for sessional work.
