We are looking for a skilled HR assistant, preferably CIPD qualified or with relevant experience, who will support and develop new and existing talent through policies and procedures. 

 

Taking a keen interest in staff development.

 

We expect you to have knowledge of various HR functions and employment laws.  

 

Acting as HR’s first point of contact, for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner, this may include contract creation and/or revisions.

 

You will be able to follow process and offer a proactive approach to support the business. 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1.   Management and Planning

Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.

Working closely with various departments in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.

Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts, staff handbooks and new hire guides, provide counselling on policies and procedures to management teams.

Revise company policies and review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules) with the use of HR Systems.

Assist in performance management processes & undertaking regular salary reviews.
